The above specials are respectfully named after Jean Baptist Morin, who, with his wife, Emma, emigrated from Montreal and opened the Franklin Cafe in 1911. The original seven stool diner was located on Mill Street. The Franklin Café was renamed Morin’s Diner in 1932 when the restaurant moved to the present site. Since the 1970’s, JB’s grandsons, Russ and Bill, have owned and operated the restaurant and catering business. Today, the fourth generation is actively involved!
